About Us
Join us as we explore local, state, and national parks!
We are native Houstonians who love the outdoors! Exploring parks started out as a way to pass the time during the pandemic. Nowadays, we visit a new park every week. Houston has plenty of green space if you know where to look. We love to hike, and although Houston is flat we make the most of it by hiking (aka walking) the local green spaces here. Whenever we get the chance, we try to visit our great state and national parks as well.
Check out our blog posts to find guides to visiting the parks we explore! And follow us on instagram @htxtravelers where we post tips on visiting local, state, and national parks.
