Stude Park and White Oak Greenway
Stude Park and White Oak Greenway is a great park located off of the bayou in the Heights featuring a long paved trail offering a gorgeous view of the Houston skyline.
This is a good park to run/jog and/or bike if you have one. We ended up renting Bbikes and biked around here for an hour. We had to turn around as our rental time was running out, but one day I would love to take this one all the way into downtown.
If you do decide to rent a Bbike, try the bike out before pulling it off of the rack. A lot of them were damaged. The one we ended up renting had a broken seat, but unfortunately it was the only one left at this location.
We didn’t have a problem finding parking on the weekend morning that we visited, but I can see how parking could get full on busy days.
