Alexander Deussen Park
Deussen Park is a great local neighborhood park located off of Lake Houston in Northeast Houston. At 309 acres, you could easily spend hours exploring this park.
Our favorite part of this park is the view of Lake Houston! There’s something for everyone here – a dog park for dog owners, plenty of picnic tables to enjoy time with family and friends, a boat ramp if you would like to spend time out on the open water, a paved jogging trail for runners, and playgrounds for kids.
Note: Currently the open air pavilion is closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Be sure to check out Eisenhower Park next door if you’re interested in hiking! This is a large wooded park that offers fishing and miles of hiking trails.
