The Big Bubble

This is a secret button hidden within the Houston Theater Arts District by Sesquicentennial park that makes bubbles in Houston’s Buffalo Bayou.

This is one of the quirky, less known Houston attractions. Part of the fun is the adventure to find the secret button – hidden within a column on the Preston St bridge.

I would recommend coming here with another person since can’t get a good view of the bayou while you’re pushing the button.  

Tip – the street is pretty quiet on weekends, so if you’re coming just to check out the button, there shouldn’t be a problem parking your car with your flashers on and hitting the button.

Unfortunately as of 2019 this button is no longer in service, so this attraction is now one to skip.
