Cullinan Park

There are actually two Cullinan Parks in Houston! If you search Cullinan Park in Google, you will only see information on the larger, more well-known Cullinan Park in Sugarland.

This Cullinan Park is a smaller park located in Southeast Houston. There is one long trail here that loops around a small lake before heading back to the parking lot. The park was very quiet and peaceful when we visited on a weekend spring morning. Unfortunately, the park is not well-maintained and there was trash in the lake and on the sides of the trail. The lake was a deep green color from overgrown algae, but we saw plenty of tadpoles swimming inside the lake.
