Shadow Creek Ranch Nature Trail
The Shadow Creek Ranch Nature Trail is a great way to get some fresh air in Pearland! It’s a short out and back trail and a local favorite for birdwatching.
About halfway through the trail, comes a wooden viewing deck which offers great views of the surrounding wetlands.

There are many educational platforms posted along the trail detailing information about different wildlife and plants that call this area home.

The paved trail eventually loops past an apartment complex and connects to Ivy Park allowing for a longer trail experience. We’ve biked the entire trail and it took about 45 minutes to loop from Ivy Park to Shadow Creek Nature Trail and back.

Given the wetlands ecosystem, know to expect lots of bugs (mosquitoes, dragonflies, cicadas) here, especially after the recent rains.

This isn’t a park to make a day trip out to see, but nice to do if you’re already in the area or live closeby.
