Outer Loop
Robert Stuart Park
Stuart park is a medium-sized park located in Southeast Houston. The park is not well-known or well-maintained, but we enjoyed our visit here. Unfortunately, when we visited it was after a recent winter storm and most of the plants were dead. I imaging in the springtime, it would be beautiful to visit.
The park offers exposure to a few unique native Houston habitat all clearly marked with signs including bayou, wetlands, pond, etc. We love the efforts made by this park to conserve the natural Houston ecosystem and provide a home to native wildlife!
This park also connects to a long, well-maintained paved trail off of Sims Bayou – great for running and biking.
